Ponies in Coed Crafnant
Coed Crafnant Pony Video
This month we moved ponies Pixie and Elan to another part of the woodland Coed Crafnant, Ardudwy. This special Celtic rainforest site is under the management of North Wales Wildlife Trust so we have been working in partnership with them to organise the grazing. Join us as we move the ponies to see some of the work we have undertaken on the site through the LIFE Celtic Rainforest project and to enjoy some of the special features of this wonderful site.
Moving the Coed Crafnant Ponies
Join us to move the ponies, Pixie and Elan that are grazing Coed Crafnant to another part of the woodland. By joining us you will get a snapshot of this wonderful woodland and the infrastructure the project has funded to enable us to manage grazing on site.
This special Celtic rainforest reserve near Llanbedr is managed by North Wales Wildlife Trust (NWWT) so we have been working in partnership to organise the grazing. You will see Helen Upson (Grazing Officer) who has led the work on site on behalf of the LIFE Celtic Rainforest project.
Site manager Rob Booth (NWWT) provides the context for the reasons for why we are grazing the site. Anita Daimond (Engagement Officer LIFE Celtic Rainforest project) introduces some of the special features of the site. You will also meet Eurig Jones (NWWT) who assists Rob Booth with the work on site.
We hope you will enjoy seeing the ponies, the work we have undertaken through the project and some of the special features of this wonderful site.
