Case Studies

The European Commission's LIFE Programme regard the sharing of information and lessons learnt as key outcomes of any successful project, and below you will find various Case Studies produced by the Celtic Rainforests LIFE Project.

Here we summarising issues faced on some sites, as well as more general issues faced and share detailed information on the work-arounds used to address these as we worked through the project actions,

This is a case study on a mass grazing trial to deal with Himalayan balam within an irrigation ditch at Hafod y Llyn.

We tried a method of keeping grazing animals within a small area for a period of time, and we saw that they were eating the Jacinth that was to be found on the sides of the ditch.
