About Us

Snowdonia National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Snowdonia National Park. Covering 823 miles of diverse landscape, the Park is home to over 26,000 people, the highest mountain in England and Wales and the largest natural lake in Wales.

The LIFE Celtic Rainforest project is a seven year, £7M LIFE funded programme. The aim is to restore and bring into favourable conservation status a significant amount of designated Western Atlantic Oak Woodland sites in Wales. The Celtic Rainforest Wales Project has received funding from the LIFE Programme of the European Union.

We’re now looking for a bilingual Project Support Officer to join our team for a five year contract running until 2025.

The Role

As a Project Support Officer, you will be tasked with dealing with the financial and administrative aspects of the LIFE Celtic Rainforest project.

Specifically, your role will include general project admin, collating time sheets and financial data for claim preparation and supporting the Senior Project Manager with financial inquiries and payments.

This is a full time, 37 hour per week post. However, we are willing to consider offering the role on a part time basis, working 30 hours per week.

About You

To be considered as a Project Support Officer, you will need:

- The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
- Experience of financial and administrative work in a busy office environment
- Experience of minute taking at meetings and producing correct minutes
- Knowledge of, and interest in, Snowdonia National Park Authority
- Excellent information technology skills e.g. Word, Excel and website technology
- An NVQ level 3 or equivalent (or equivalent experience)

Experience of using GIS would be beneficial to your application.

The closing date for this role is 10am on the 30th June 2020.
